Big Pipe Creek Stream Restoration
Six M was the successful low bidder on the replacement of the structure carrying Bachmans Valley Road (MD 496) over Big Pipe Creek. As part of the project, Six M restored roughly 900’ of Big Pipe Creek. The work included realignment and placement of clay channel blocks, rock toes, riffles and a cross vane. A wetland was created adjacent to the stream where rock sills and rootwads were placed.
