Willoughby Beach Road Stream Restoration

The project involved retrofitting two existing stormwater management facilities to add water quality features and storage, construction of two regenerative step-pool conveyances, construction of a shallow marsh and to restore 1,085 linear feet of stream channel. The stream restoration work included the placement of riffle grade control, pools, imbricated rock structures, tow wood, coir rolls and soil lifts. The project was located between Willoughby Beach Road and Cedar Drive in Edgewood MD.
